I will stamp all over 'legitimate boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua
The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two-time world heavyweight champion Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of those words, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK opponent Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.

The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would prevent the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.
